Derek Smith (Vocals and guitar)
Originally from the USA, over the last decade playing music full time in NZ, Derek’s accolades include playing at All Black Richie McCaw’s wedding and for the King of Tonga, covering every major city from Auckland down to Stewart Island, even as far as Europe.
Matt Wilson (drums)
Kiwi drummer/producer/recording engineer, Matt is the busiest drummer in the region (if not the country) and is based in Lumsden, where he owns his home and recording studio, Meadow Sounds.
Danny Atkinson (Vocals and guitar)
Hailing from the UK, Danny has spent the last decade playing music professionally full time here in Queenstown, where he is an absolute pillar of the music scene. Whether carrying a party solo or co-fronting the band, the man is a monster player with an incredible voice.
Louis koopman (keys/synth)
The master of the keys. Originally from Drury, near Auckland, you’ll find Louis with us in our four to six piece band lineup, as well as local legends QFO (Queenstown Funk Orchestra) and his own jazz trio. This guy does it all, and does it better than anyone else on the scene.
Vicki-leigh fryer (Vocals)
Originally from Auckland, Vicki-Leigh is a vocal powerhouse and has been slaying the wedding and event scene regionally over the last several years since moving down. From Tina Turner to Shania Twain, Katy Perry to Christina Ricci, Bryan Adams to Bon Jovi, this girl does it all.
Martin Rylev (bass and vocals)
Originally from Denmark, Martin has performed professionally all over world (including a tour opening for Ozzy Osbourne!) for decades. In his spare time, he loves beekeeping and yes, slappin the bass.
Patrick Brooks (Drums)
Originally from Wanganui, Patrick is another of our brilliant drummers with The Execs. With incredible chops and fusing so many different styles, he will drive the dance floor like no other across every genre.
